Like many, I didn't grow up doing gymnastics and couldn't even touch my toes when I started training 5 years ago. I made countless mistakes each of which set my progress back by many months.The problem is nowadays there is too much information out there and what you need is for someone to bring it altogether and give you somewhere to start.This is why I have created the Handstand Accelerator classes to kick start you're journey with everything you need to succeed

CLASS STRUCTURE

Each 90 minute class will vary but follow a general structure as outlined below:

  1. 10 mins Group Warm Up: Get the body, wrists & shoulders warm to practice

  2. 60 mins Workshop: I break down that week's theme, I will demo, show you how to spot before going round the room while you have a good and answer any questions. This can include specific strength, flexibility, alignment and balancing drills towards the classes theme all tailored to the level you're at!

  3. 20 mins Guided Strength & Flexibility Class to build strength and endurance in your handstand

  4. Guided Breathwork to help calm down the body and allow you to focus more effectively

IN-PERSON CLASS

If you join more than 1 class you will be invited to the WhatsApp group to be able to ask questions, form checks and get tips.Every Wednesday 6:30-8pm -- Fabric Dance, part of Hippodrome in Birmingham City Centre

Q&A

I'm a beginner can I join?
Yes! This class is suitable for you even if you have zero handstand experience, and for anyone wanting to improve their 2 arms handstand.
Why sign up for this classes?
- Get a structured plan: There is loads of information out there on learning to handstand but this course pulls it all together and gives you a structured path for progression.
- Accountability: WhatsApp group and accountability calls are there to keep you motivated
- Get your questions answered: Form checks are available throughout to feel confident you are doing it right or know how to improve

What do I need to bring with me?
Comfortable sports clothes, water bottle. Yoga mats and blocks are provided but feel free to bring your own.
I can't make one of the dates but want to sign up to the full course
Don't worry you will be able to sign up to a future class for free. Contact me with which class you will be unable to attend and you will be able to book onto a future class for free.
